      How to create Neowit Service accounts

      Interact with the API through a Service Account. All programmatic interaction with the Neowit API is done via a logged-in Service Account.

      Prerequisites

      • Neowit software with admin role
      • Integrations with devices

       

      How to Created Key Details

      1. Go to Settings->Service Account
      2. Click  the plus icon to make a new account
        Enable basic authentication if required.
      3. Click plus icon to add account keys.

      Please note: Secret will only be shown once. Therefore write it down. 

       

      Copy and past details (Account ID, Key ID and Secret) in the software you want to forward data to ex. Power BI
