How to add a device

Once you've completed integrations you can now place out your devices. This will make your platform more dynamic and give you insights.

What do you need before you start:

• First you need to create a building.
• Then you need to integrate with vendors

What is a device sensor
A device sensor can be a video conference device, a motion(PIR), air quality any IOT sensor.
They allow you to interact with your environment in new and innovative ways giving you real time data. If it has an open API, you can make an integration and add it as a device in the platform.

Complete your Sensor integrations:

1. Click the cogwheel and "+" button.
2. Choose a vendor and follow the prompts to complete the integration.
3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 for all remaining vendors.

Device list

A list of devices will appear right under application for Devices

Make sure the devices has the same name as the desk, room og area. This can only be changed in vendors site.

1. Under building, change from Map to list view (This is a much easier way to add devices).
2. Use the filter to find your area
3. Click the three dots on the panel you want to do a change to.
4. Click add device
5. Choose which device you want to add and click next
6. Select device (click once) and place it in the area that appears by clicking inside the area.
7. Click add device
8. Repeat these steps until every device from your adding list is happily accounted for.

You have now completed the step to add devices you can now meaningful insights report
